Karlymar is a junior at Perth Amboy High School who's been involved in the choir program and all things that have to do with music since she was a freshman. She is also involved at the 9AM choir at her church, Our Lady of Fatima. She has always been interested in singing and learning more about music due to her Puerto Rican family's influnce with music. Karlymar's family, specifically her mom's side, have always been heavily involved with singing and playing instruments. Although when Karlymar was younger she wouldn't sing a word, she ended up growing to love music.
Extra Curriculars
Karlymar currently a part of the PAHS Gospel Choir, Show Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Singers, Advanced Concert Choir, Chorale, and Theatre Club She was also able to be part of the 2024 CJMEA Region Treble Choir and the 2025 NJMEA All-State Treble Choir. She has also been part of the Spring Musical, Summer Theatre Program, and PAHS Marching Band and is currently part of the National Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society.
